UP Passenger’s Ear and Finger Bitten off by Bus Driver and Conductor

In Lucknow, a dispute over seating arrangements on a UP Roadways bus turned violent as the driver and conductor bit a passenger, causing injuries and theft. Kuldeep Kumar from Sidhauli lost part of his finger, ear, gold chain, and Rs 19,600 in the incident on Thursday.

Kuldeep Kumar boarded a bus to Sitapur from Lucknow and was asked to change seats by the conductor, leading to a confrontation. He stated, “The driver and their aides started beating me. One of them then bit my ears. They also bit my little finger on my left hand and looted my gold chain and money.”

The passenger managed to escape and reported the incident to the police. The driver, Sharan Mishra, and conductor, Mohammed Riyaz, have been arrested, according to SHO Dinesh Mishra from Wazirganj. UPSRTC has issued a notice to the two individuals in response to the incident.
