Ayodhya administration urges people to visit temple town following Ram Navami

Ayodhya district administration urges people to celebrate Ram Navami at home

Ayodhya district administration has requested devotees planning to visit the temple town for Ram Navami on April 17 to celebrate the festival at their homes instead, due to limited capacity at the temple town. District Magistrate Nitish Kumar has urged people across the country to celebrate with enthusiasm in their own cities and villages and visit Ayodhya later for darshan of Shri Ram.

With Ram Navami expected to draw more than 50 lakh pilgrims, the administration is gearing up for the largest crowd management exercise. Plans include setting up multiple entry and exit points at the Ram temple complex and arrangements for drinking water and durries on open floors to cope with rising temperatures. The administration also promises regular supplies of foodgrains, vegetables, and milk for eateries, dharmshalas, and temple kitchens.

As the birth festival of Shri Ram approaches, the district administration wants to ensure safety and convenience for devotees during their visit to Ayodhya. The focus is on managing the large influx of pilgrims expected to gather for the occasion. The Ram temple trust will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics for the event, including facilities and resources required to accommodate the massive crowd.

In light of the upcoming Ram Navami celebrations, authorities are preparing for a significant crowd turnout at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The District Magistrate emphasized the need for careful planning and organization to handle the expected rush of devotees. By encouraging people to celebrate the festival at their homes and visit Ayodhya at a later time, the administration hopes to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
