Dominic Cooper, a 35-year-old man, recently lost his life due to mauling. Dominic had pit bulls in his house, which eventually turned on him, causing his death. The reason why the dogs attacked him to death remains unknown.
Dominic Cooper Loses His Life
However, an autopsy report has been released, stating that Dominic Cooper suffered blood loss. Although his internal organs were not pierced by the dogs’ teeth, he still suffered significant blood loss and eventually succumbed to his injuries and died.
The incident began one evening around 7 p.m. when one of his dogs started biting him, and then the others joined in. They continued biting and mauling him for 6-7 minutes. In an attempt to save himself from the dogs, Dominic took refuge in a kennel.
After further examination of the injuries, it was realized that the bites were indeed very deep. Their teeth pierced holes in his skin, penetrating to a depth of about one-third. The whole incident was a shock to people online.
The day after, his body was found inside the kennel, as he was physically exhausted and had given up on surviving his injuries. Pit bulls are generally considered to be a very dangerous and ferocious breed, and incidents like this further fuel suspicion about the breed.
Due to the heinous nature of the incident, the dogs were taken into custody by animal control and were euthanized afterward.
Dominic Cooper lost his life at the young age of 25 due to a dog attack and mauling by his pets.
