Mayank Yadav pulls out of IPL 2024 match due to side strain

Lucknow Super Giants star pacer, Mayank, suffered a side strain and went off the field after finishing his first over against Gujarat Titans at Ekana Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Bowling his third over, Mayank left the field after completing his first over. Deepak Hooda replaced him as a substitute fielder, and it is understood that Mayank will not bowl his remaining overs. Mayank’s pace was below 140kph in his first over before leaving the field.

The incident occurred during the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans at Ekana Cricket Stadium. Mayank, known for his pace, experienced a side strain while bowling his third over after completing his first over. Deepak Hooda stepped in as a substitute fielder for Mayank, who is not expected to bowl his remaining overs in the match.

Mayank’s departure from the field comes as a setback for Lucknow Super Giants, who were depending on his bowling expertise against Gujarat Titans. With his pace dropping below 140kph in the first over, Mayank’s side strain forced him to leave the field immediately after completing one over.
