The son of the deceased Ex-serviceman Vinod Singh told the news agency ANI that, ‘My father was infected with Corona. Other hospitals refused to recruit him, but Nalanda Medical College and Hospital agreed to recruit him. We waited outside the hospital for about an hour and a half. “

Abhimanyu Kumar, son of the deceased jawan said that,

“We brought Dad to Patna on the evening of April 12 and took him to AIIMS. But there doctors refused to recruit citing lack of beds. After this we took him to a private nursing home, where he was admitted for a few hours. “

He further informed that, on April 13, at 10 am, we went to Nalanda Medical College. But there, everyone was busy with preparations for the visit of the Health Minister.

On the question related to the negligence of the hospital and doctors in this case, Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that, we are trying to provide health facilities to all citizens and we are sad that someone died due to lack of treatment in this way.

“This is an unfortunate incident. In the last few days, the number of corona cases in hospitals has increased. Efforts are continuing to provide health facilities to every person. ”
