Elizabeth Hurley’s Son Describes Filming His Mum’s Racy Scene as “Totally Normal”

British actress Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damian Hurley recently collaborated on a project where Damian directed his mother in racy scenes. The mother-son duo shared that their relationship feels more like siblings, which may seem unusual to outsiders, given Damian’s experience photographing his mother over the years.

In a recent interview, Elizabeth Hurley mentioned that there was “nothing gratuitous” in Damian’s film ‘Strictly Confidential’, and she felt comfortable during the intimate scenes, even with her son behind the camera. The actress also revealed that due to budget constraints, they did not hire an intimacy coordinator on set.

Damian, 21, expressed that working with his mother felt normal to him, despite the unconventional nature of the project. He explained that growing up without his late father Steve Bing, their relationship evolved into a sibling-like dynamic, where traditional parent-child roles were blurred.

Reflecting on their close bond, Damian shared, “We’re like siblings. I think when it’s just two of you, any farce of ‘I’m the parent, you’re the child’ goes out the window. You start seeing each other as real humans way sooner than when there are two parents, two kids, and you’re separated from the adults.” The Hurleys’ unique perspective sheds light on the complexities of family relationships in the entertainment industry.
