On January 4, 2024, Thursday, China witnessed the rollout of the Honor X50 GT, a new smartphone. The smartphone is backed up by a 5,800mAh battery and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset along with a fast charging support of 35W. The smartphone exudes a dual rear camera set up of 108-megapixel along with a selfie camera of 8 megapixels.

The 12GB + 256GB variant of the phone starts at roughly Rs. 25,600 or CNY 2,199 in China. The 16GB + 256GB storage configuration is available at roughly Rs. 27,900 or CNY 2,399, the 16GB + 512GB storage variant is priced at roughly Rs. 30,200 or CNY 2,599 and the highest-end model, 16GB + 1TB storage configuration is priced at roughly Rs. 33,700 or CNY 2,899.

Currently, the Honor X50 GT smartphone is available for pre-orders in the nation. From January 9, 2024, the phone will go on sale via the official website. Honor X50 GT is currently available in various colour options that include, Silver Winged God of War and Fantasy Night Black.

Honor X50 GT Features and Specifications

Honor X50 GT is a newly launched smartphone that features a curved OLED panel of 6.78-inch 1.5K (2,652 x 1,200 pixels). It comes with HDR10 support, 1,200 nits of peak brightness level, 1,000Hz of touch sampling rate, 1,920Hz of PWM dimming rate, and 120Hz of refresh rate.


The Honor X50 GT handset is operating on MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13. It is powered by up to 1TB of onboard storage, up to 16GB of RAM, and an Adreno 730 GPU paired with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

On the optics front, the newly launched Honor X50 GT holds a Samsung HM6 primary sensor of 108 megapixels along with a depth sensor of 2 megapixels at the back. Moreover, the front camera is equipped with a sensor of 8 megapixels. The phone flaunts a dual LED flash unit accompanied by a dual rear camera system.
