Supermassive black hole found, an amazing phenomenon captured in camera, NASA released photos

The US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently released pictures of two supermassive black holes that are now becoming increasingly viral on social media.

The official Instagram account of NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory shared these photos. The photos show the process of merging supermassive black holes.

According to NASA, the black hole seen in the Galaxy NGC is 6240 three thousand light-years ago and they will move together to form a big black hole millions of years from now. According to the report, the merger process started about 30 million years ago.

The post also said: that pairs of massive black holes in the merger process are the most powerful sources of gravitational waves in the universe. The Chandra X-ray Observatory is a telescope specifically designed to detect very hot regions of the universe such as exploding stars, clusters of galaxies and X-ray emission around black holes.

The telescope was launched by NASA during the Space Shuttle Colombia in 1999 during STS-93, orbiting 139,000 km in space. Supermassive black holes are the largest type of black hole, which is millions of times larger than the Sun.
