“Extreme Suffering” 15 of 23 Monkeys with Elon Musk’s Neuralink Brain Chips Reportedly Died

Elon Musk’s Neuralink is conducting a brain chip experiment involving monkeys at University of California Davis. According to the latest reports, 15 of the 23 monkeys involved in the study have reportedly died. This has sparked outrage and concern from animal rights activists across the globe.

Via leading news portals, Business Insider and the New York Post, animal-rights group of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine reports that they have viewed over 700 pages of documents from a university’s public records’ request, which includes veterinary and necropsy reports.

Let us tell you, Neuralink is a gadget that will be surgically inserted into the brain using robotics by neurosurgeons. In this procedure, a chipset called the link is implanted in the skull. It has a number of insulated wires connected from the electrodes that are used in the process. This device can then be used to operate smartphones and computers without having to touch it.

Neuralink can be used to operate encephalopathy. It can also be used as a connection between the human brain and technology. This means that people with paralysis can easily operate their phones and computer directly with their brain. Its main purpose is to help people to communicate through text or voice messages. Of course, Neuralink is not limited to that, it can also be utilised to draw pictures, take photographs and do other activities.

They’re not just talk, their achievements are nothing short of spectacular. In 2020 they demonstrated on a pig and in 2021 video evidence showed an monkey playing Pong with its mind!

The project has been incredibly popular with celebrities, and people who are paralyzed hope that Musk will let them participate in human trials.

Musk previously said that he hoped to begin human trials in 2021, but the goal has been pushed back. Based on findings from PCRM-the brain chip may not yet be ready for use and could require another year or more of development before it’s safe enough to implant into someone’s head without any consent.”

“Pretty much every single monkey that had had implants put in their head suffered from pretty debilitating health effects,” said the PCRM’s research advocacy director Jeremy Beckham. “They were, frankly, maiming and killing the animals.”

The group that filed a complaint with the USDA on Thursday, accused UC Davis and Neuralink of suffering severe animal abuse. “Many if not all monkeys experienced extreme pain as result to inadequate care during experiments which were performed in pursuit for developing what Elon Musk has publicly described “a ‘brain-machine interface'” says PCRM.
