It is the weekend, and there is plenty to chew on for the movie lovers on the OTT Platforms. The OTT is not a victim of content that could not find a platform or be released in the movie halls. This week the most prominent attraction will be the big blockbuster Rajamouli’s “RRR,” releasing on Netflix and Zee5 in multiple languages. Amazon Prime Video also releases the much-awaited season 2 of Panchayat and Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi-starrer Acharya.

‘RRR’

The Magnum Opus SS Rajamouli- directorial Hindi version release on OTT Platform Netflix has been hastened probably due to the extreme fans’ demand. “RRR” is known as Ranam Rudhiram Roudhram in Telugu and Rise Roar Revolt in Hindi and English.

Jersey

The 2022 Shahid Kapoor flick is a remake of a Telegu film of the same name, released in 2019. The film chronicles the life of a disgraced cricketer who returns to the game to fulfill his son’s wish. In significant roles, the film also features Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapoor, Ronit Kamra, Shishir Sharma, and Rudrashish Majumdar.

Panchayat Season 2

The series was hit by a leak and had to be released earlier than its planned release. The serial tackles the problem of rural unemployment. The serial covers the trials and tribulations faced by Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who joins the Panchayat office in Phulera due to a lack of a better job opportunity. In significant roles, the series also features Jitendra Kumar, Chandan Roy, Raghuvir Yadav, Neena Gupta, and Faisal Malik.

‘Acharya’

Directed by the Koratala, Siva focuses on the course of life of a former extremist named Acharya, who enters a shrine called Dharmasthali to end the anarchy caused by Basava. Acharya is asked to end the injustices going on in the temple. The film stars Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, Sonu Sood, and Posani Krishna Murali in significant roles.

‘RRR‘

The flick, already a huge commercial success, chronicles the formative years of Komaram Bheem (Junior NTR) and Alluri Seetharamaraju (Ram Charan) and their respective contributions to the Indian freedom struggle is set in the 1920s.

‘Zombivli’

The film tackles the social and financial divide between the haves and the have not and the resultant clash of the worlds. Their worlds collide when the town fills with cries and moans of zombies. The Aditya Sarpotdar-directorial features Amey Wagh, Lalit Prabhakar, Vaidehi Parshurami, Janaki Pathak, and Sharat Sonu in pivotal roles.
