Tamil cinema superstar Dhanush who recently made India proud with his appearance in Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans starrer, and Russo Brothers directorial Netflix original ‘The Gray Man‘ is celebrating his 39th birthday today, July 28, 2022. Notably, this action/thriller is Netflix’s highest-budget film to date, made at an expense of $200 million.
Dhanush, who made his debut with ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’ in 2002, is an example for those who want to take up acting as a career, that a ‘hero’ is not always a good-looking guy with a tight six apes. He rose to fame with ‘Polladhavan’ in 2007 and then ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ which was released in 2008, both films were commercially successful and his performances were appreciated by critics.

Arun Matheswaran-directorial is set to release in Summer 2023. Priyanka Arul Mohan will also be starred alongside Dhanush in this period film. Recently on July 2, the announcement video of the film was released by Sathya Jyothi Films.
2. ‘Aayirathil Oruvan 2’
Earlier, on New Year’s Day, the poster of the film was released by the director and Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan, and it was announced that the action/thriller would hit the theaters in 2024, but has now been postponed due to budget issues.
3. ‘Thiruchitrambalam’
The Mithran Jawahar-directorial musical comedy-drama film will feature Dhanush, Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The film is planned for worldwide theatrical release in August 2022.
4. ‘Sir’
The shooting of the film started in January 2022. The bilingual film is being shot as ‘Sir’ in Telugu and ‘Vathi’ in Tamil. The film will also star Samyuktha Menon and is scheduled to release on 18 August, this year.
5. ‘Naane Varuven’
The ‘Maari’ actor is bringing several back-to-back exciting projects in 2022 and ‘Naane Varuven’ directed by Selvaraghavan is also a part of it. The film is produced under the banner of ‘We Creations’ and will feature Indhuja Ravichandran in the lead role. The film will hit the theaters next year.
