With the rising cases in Noida, the Health Department has released new guidelines to control the spread of the virus. It includes wearing face masks in colleges, schools, hospitals, and shopping malls to name a few public places and practising social distancing.
Noida latest updates on Corona cases
Noida recently reported 84 new cases of Covid bringing the total number to 568. In the meantime, India has 9,111 new cases out of which 60,313 active cases as per the Union Health Ministry data released on Monday. The death toll reached 5,31,141 with 27 deaths. In this, 4 were from U.P, 6 were from Gujarat, 2 from Maharastra, 3 each from Rajasthan and Delhi and 1 each from the state of Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Kerala.
Covid guidelines for workplaces in Noida
As for the workplaces, the guidelines include proper cleaning of offices, use of sanitisers, thermal temperature screening at the entry gate of offices and work-from-home options available for employees, especially for those who are showing signs of cough, cold, fever or say flu-like symptoms. Face masks mandatory for colleges, public places and schools in Noida
Face Masks are mandatory and practise social distancing. All Covid protocols are also applicable in every school, college, depot, bus stand, cinema hall, railway station, office or school cafeteria. Meanwhile, offices, institutions and colleges must have thermal scanners at the entry-level.
‘Do not spit in public’
Make sure people don’t spit in public areas and ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness. Additionally, avoid any public contact such as hugging or shaking hands with the other person. Avoid going to movie halls and try to enjoy the latest movies or web series on OTT platforms.
