Mahendra Singh Dhoni, called the ‘Thala’, is now going viral on the internet for the wrong reasons. MS Dhoni is an eatred cricketer of team India. He currently only plays in PIL representing Chennai Super Kings as the team captain. He is 42 years old and is a fan favorite of many people worldwide.
A video of him smoking hookah at a party has gone viral on the inter and fans are shocked right now. It is believed that MS Dhoni is not a condoned of alcohol or any substance abuse as such. He made it clear about that in many interviews. But as that video went viral which clearly shows that he was smoking hookah, fans did not want to believe it.

The authenticity of the video has not been proven yet. These days deep fakes and morphed videos are all over the internet which can create any fake video to defame someone. Though it is known that he doesn’t condone smoking, his co-cricketer George Bailey did inform the media that MS Dhoni used to use hookah as a bonding material with his juniors in the team or newcomers.
“He likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah. So, he often would set that up in his room, which was very much open-door policy. You would go in and quite often find a lot of younger players there. For India or a lot of other cricket teams, it can be hierarchical, but he certainly broke that down,” is what he said.
Obviously, for factual purposes, hookah does not contain tobacco it is just inhaling flavored smoke, and the flavor can also be natural sometimes which doesn’t create that of an adverse effect as tobacco does. The authenticity of this video remains unknown still, however, it’s best not to create more rumors before it’s confirmed.
