Kara Lee was arrested on charges of having a sexual relationship with a minor
According to her social media credentials, Kara Lee is an avid horse lover. On 4 January she was arrested on charges of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor. Later she was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and three counts of first-degree s*xual assault.
The accusation against Kara Lee was based on “inappropriate physical touching and sexual intercourse” with one of her students from school. The Cross County police authority started an investigation after the school district contacted the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Hotline.
The disturbing incident has left parents stunned. It has been revealed to the media that Cross County High School knew about the case but chose not to speak about it publicly. As per local sources, the school district was well aware of the sexual relationship of a teacher with one of their students raising concerns about the well-being of other kids studying in school.
One of the sources spoke to the press and stated to K8 News- “I’ve heard that they have been interfering with each other for a while now, and that the students knew about and told the school, but they didn’t take any action.”
