As the obscene video surrounding Mevaram Jain surfaced on the internet, it spread all over like fire. Latest reports reveal a new video featuring Mevaram Jain has gone viral all over social media platforms like Telegram and Twitter. Mevaram Jain is well-known former MLA who is currently 70 years old and hails from Rajasthan. Previously, he has been in the news surrounding a leaked video controversy along with some rape charges.
As the video went viral, netizens asked for strict legal actions that should be taken against Mevaram Jain. In an explicit video leaked, the former MLA could be spotted inserting a piece of wood into the private part. Netizens are searching for any new update or leak involving Mevaram Jain as the older screenshots circulated on social media platforms.
Demand for Justice For Victim
Various videos have been leaked on the internet, however, they are not easily accessible as they house explicit and obscene content. However, on Facebook and Twitter, the videos can be discovered. Some YouTube videos also claim that they have a third leaked video of the former MLA. It is of 33 minutes duration. However, the first two videos were only 7 minutes duration.
As the controversy escalated, netizens demanded justice for the victim. A Rajasthani woman filed a rape case against Mewaram Jain. As per allegations put by the woman, former MLA’s goons picked her up forcibly to Jain’s farmhouse. Her legs and hands were tied. She was stripped off and then beaten severely by Mevaram Jain. Then, he tried to put a piece of wood into the woman’s private part.
Case Filed, No Arrests Yet on Mevaram Jain
When the Rajasthani woman got beaten by the police officers, she was forced to sign on a blank white paper. SP Digant Anand stated no complaints against policemen have been reported so far. However, at the Rajiv Gandhi Nagar police station, a case against both police officers and the MLA was filed, as per DCP of Jodhpur West Police Station, Gaurav Yadav.
The woman filed the complaint against 9 total people including, POCSO, Chairman Sultan Singh, MCD, DSP Anand Singh Rajpurohit, Barmer Kotwal Gangaram, and former Barmer MLA Mewaram Jain. All are facing charges of gang rape. However, no one has been arrested yet.
When the former MLA Mevaram Jain approached the High Court, he stated that the videos were fabricated and fake. Thus, a stay order has been issued and the next court hearing will occur on January 25, 2024.
