India is renowned for love, not hatred, says Rahul Gandhi

Patna, March 3 (IANS) Congress MP Rahul Gandhi emphasized the importance of love over hatred in India during a rally in Gandhi Maidan. Gandhi spoke about the spread of hatred in the country due to injustice and highlighted the government’s favoritism towards certain sectors.

Addressing a large crowd at the Jan Vishwas Maharally, Gandhi stated, “We have opened ‘Nafrat Key Bazar Me, Mohabbat Ki Dukan’. Why is hatred spreading in the country? This country is not known for hatred. It is a country known for love.”

Gandhi criticized the Central government for neglecting the interests of farmers, youths, and the poor, while favoring industrialists. He questioned the disparity in benefits received by industrialists compared to farmers and laborers, highlighting the social and financial injustices prevailing in society.

Accusing the government of creating divisions, Gandhi pointed out the unequal treatment of different sections of society. He raised concerns over the government’s allocation of resources, indicating a bias towards certain privileged individuals, while ignoring the needs of marginalized communities.

During the rally, Gandhi also condemned the government’s approach towards defense forces, alleging discrimination in the treatment of different segments within the armed forces. He criticized the government’s handling of welfare programs and called for more equitable distribution of resources.

The Jan Vishwas Maharally in Patna witnessed the presence of prominent leaders including Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mallikarjun Kharge, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, D Raja, and Sitaram Yechuri. Several other political figures and supporters gathered to hear Gandhi’s message of unity and love prevailing over hatred in the country.
