New York Rainstorm Casualty Identified as Catherine Tusiani, The Wife Of Yankees Executive Michael Tusiani

The woman who was killed in a rainstorm around 5 p.m., local time, on Wednesday night in New York has recently been identified as Catherine Tusiani, who is the wife of a Yankees Executive. 

Catherine met her ultimate demise while traveling after a tree crushed her car. TimesNow reported that Catherine Tusiani was married to the senior vice president of partnership for the New York Yankees, Michael J Tusiani. 

Moreover, the deceased hailed from Westchester County. 

When Tusiani met her ultimate demise, she was 50-years-old. Catherine’s car accident occurred on the night of Wednesday during a vicious rainstorm. 

The New York Post reported that when Catherine met with the accident, she was on her way northbound on Route 128 in Armonk, as informed by th law enforcement officials.

Who Was Catherine Tusiani?

Catherine Tusiani was also known as Catherine “Cathy” Tusiani.

As Catherine was married to Michael J Tusiani, she was the mother to two daughters, Julia and Alex, along with one son, Michael.

In a press release, the North Castle Police Department revealed that Catherine was the only woman in the car. 

 The Yankees regarded this incident as an unimaginable loss. Thus, they issued a statement which read the following. 

“Words cannot capture the devastating impact that is being felt within the Yankees family after the sudden and tragic loss of Cathy Tusiani. Cathy was beloved by our front office staffers, who were privileged to experience and bear witness to her kindness, intelligence, sense of humor, and great love for her husband, Michael, over the two-plus decades of dedicated service he has provided the Yankees organization and the Steinbrenner family.”
