Lindy Cameron appointed British High Commissioner to India
New Delhi, April 11 (IANS) Lindy Cameron has been appointed British High Commissioner to India, succeeding Alex Ellis CMG. Cameron, who previously served as Chief Executive of the National Cyber Security Centre from 2020 to 2024, will take up her new role this month. She has also held the position of Director General of the Northern Ireland Office in the UK.
Deputy High Commissioner Christina Scott congratulated Cameron on her appointment, stating, “Congratulations to @Lindy_Cameron for being announced as the next High Commissioner to India. Looking forward to welcoming you to Delhi soon and working with you.”
