Israeli airstrike in Gaza results in 29 fatalities

A deadly Israeli airstrike in Gaza has left at least 29 people dead and dozens injured, reported by Palestinian news agency WAFA. Israel Defense Forces confirmed attacking over 60 targets in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

According to the report, decomposed bodies of 13 people were found in Al-Balad area and Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Yunis Governorate. Further details on the casualties are still awaited.

In response to a Hamas attack on October 7, the Israeli government stated that 33,545 people have been killed. The situation in Gaza remains tense as both sides continue to engage in conflict.

The airstrike has once again heightened tensions in the region, leading to more casualties and destruction. The international community is urged to intervene and facilitate peace talks between Israel and Palestine to prevent further loss of lives.
