10 fatalities in individual road accidents in Pakistan

Islamabad, April 14 (IANS) – Two separate road accidents in Pakistan have resulted in a total of 10 deaths and 10 injuries in the past 24 hours, reports the rescue service.

In the southern port city of Karachi, four people were killed and eight others injured when two buses collided near Jokhio Mor area along the Super Highway. The collision occurred due to rain in the morning, with the deceased including children, as per the rescue service and Xinhua news agency.

In a separate incident, six people lost their lives and two others were injured on Saturday evening in Lasbela district of Balochistan province when a car overturned and fell into a ditch near the Dhoraji area. The rescue service attributed the accident to over-speeding.

The rescue workers promptly responded to both incidents, transporting the victims to local hospitals for treatment. The tragic accidents serve as a reminder of the importance of road safety measures to prevent such loss of life.
