Rahul Gandhi, Left partner, confident about coming to power in Kerala and Delhi, takes on INDIA bloc

Wayanad (Kerala), April 15 (IANS) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, seeking re-election from Wayanad, addressed a gathering in Sultan Bathery. He blamed the state and Centre for the issues in his constituency and expressed confidence in Congress coming to power in Kerala and Delhi.

During the gathering, Gandhi highlighted the problems faced by Wayanad, including man-animal conflict, night traffic issue, and lack of medical facilities. He criticized the state and Centre for neglecting Wayanad and assured the crowd that these issues will be resolved once Congress comes to power.

Gandhi expressed his emotional connection to Wayanad, calling it his home whenever he visits. He mentioned that he has invited his mother, Sonia Gandhi, to stay in Wayanad for 10 days, promising that she will visit despite concerns about humidity.

Despite his busy schedule, Gandhi conducted a roadshow in Wayanad, where he interacted with thousands of supporters. In the 2019 elections, he won the seat with a significant margin and is now facing competition from CPI leader Annie Raja and BJP’s state president K. Surendran in the upcoming polls.

The crowd cheered at Gandhi’s remarks, showing their support for his leadership and the promises he made for the development of Wayanad. As the elections draw closer, all eyes are on the Wayanad constituency and the outcome it will bring.
