AFCAT 2 Notification Out, Apply for 283 Vacancies Before June 30, 2022

AFCAT 2 2022 notification has been released. It contains details about the dates, eligibility criteria, vacancies and others. The application forms are live on the official website at afcat.cdac.in. The online application is ongoing and the last date to apply is June 30, 2022. AFCAT exam is scheduled for August 26-28, 2022. The admit card will be available August 10, 2022 onwards. 

AFCAT 2 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants of AFCAT Exam must be Indian citizens in order to be eligible. They also need to fulfill the age limit and educational requirements given below. The candidates below the age of 25 years must be unmarried. There are some physical and medical standards given in the detailed AFCAT eligibility criteria, as well. 

AFCAT Educational Qualification Requriements

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in each of Maths and Physics 
• They also need to have graduated (3 years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. 

AFCAT Age Limit

• Flying Branch: 20-24 years. Candidates who hold a valid and current pilot licence are given relaxation on the upper age limit up to 26 years.
• Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branch: 20-26 years .

AFCAT 2 2022 Vacancy Details

A total of 283 vacancies have been announced for the AFCAT courses commencing in July 2023. Amongst these, the entry for Flying and Ground Duty branches will through AFCAT. For others, the candidates will be selected through Meteorology and NCC special entries. 

Note: It must be noted that all the vacancies for women are based on SSC (Short Service Commission) while for men, it contains of both SSC and PC (Permanent Commission). 

How to Apply Online for AFCAT 2 2022?

There are two main steps to applying for AFCAT 2 2022- Registration and Application. The steps for both are given below.

Steps For AFCAT 2 Registration 2022

• Go to the the official website of the AFCAT.
• Select the  ‘Candidates Login’ tab at the top of the page.
• A new web page will appear on the screen. Fill in your personal details like- E-mail ID, Mobile Number, etc.
• Click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your AFCAT Registration ID and Password would be sent to the registered Email address.

Steps To Apply Online for AFCAT 2 2022

• Log in with the Registration ID and Password.
• Select your preferred branch, AFCAT exam centre, subject for EKT exam, etc.
• Upload the scanned documents (signature and photograph) as per the specifications given in the notification.
• Submit the application form and download it.

The candidates applying through AFCAT entry for Flying and Ground Duty Branches have to pay INR 250 as application fee. It must be paid online. No cheque or demand draft will be accepted under any circumstances. There is no exemption in application fee for any reserved category.
