Date and Celebration Rituals
The Tritiya Tithi begins on April 22 at 7.49 am and finishes on April 23 at 7.47 am, according to the Drik Panchang.
The location where rituals will be performed and idols of Goddesses and Gods placed is meticulously cleaned before the ceremonies begin. A concoction of water, sugar, ghee, curd, honey, and cow milk, called Panchamrit is used by devotees during abhisheka. To Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu, the leaves of tulsi steeped in water are also served.
