Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella turns 55 on 19th August 2022. He the first Indian-origin CEO of tech giant Microsoft. In 2014, he was named to be at the top position in the organization succeeding Steve Ballmer, serving at Microsoft for 14 years.

Originally from India, Nadella completed his education at Hyderabad Public School and later studied electronics and communication engineering at Manipal University.

After completing his bachelor’s in 1988, he shifted his base to the U.S.A to pursue a master’s at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. After completing his degree he decided to stay back and started doing a job. In 1992, he joined Microsoft, before that he used to work for Sun Microsystems (now owned by Oracle Corporation). 

While working for Microsoft, he held key responsibility at the company’s Bing division. However, bing was never really a part of Microsoft but he helped it to grow and establish itself.
