Imtiaz Ali, the renowned filmmaker, recently shared a magical experience during the brainstorming session of his upcoming streaming movie ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’. The process of creating the song ‘Bida Karo’ with AR Rahman and Irshad Kamil was truly special. The song adds depth to the narrative of the film’s titular character.

During a conversation with IANS, Imtiaz Ali recalled the moment when AR Rahman suggested turning off the lights and lighting candles while discussing a particular situation. This creative environment led to the creation of ‘Bida Karo’ for ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’. Irshad Kamil, the lyricist, who usually leaves early, wrote the song on the spot, making the whole experience truly unique and memorable.
