The Kalaburagi district administration in Karnataka honored RCB cricketer Shreyanka Patil for her outstanding performance in the Women’s Premier League. Shreyanka emerged as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, and was felicitated by top officials along with her family and coach.
Shreyanka (21) took 13 wickets in eight matches, leading RCB to victory in the WPL. She was praised at the felicitation ceremony for her dedication and success in the field of cricket.
Addressing the students, Shreyanka emphasized the importance of giving 100% to achieve goals in any field. She also expressed her excitement at meeting Virat Kohli after the tournament.
District Commissioner Fouzia Tarannum lauded Shreyanka for bringing honor not only to Kalaburagi but the entire state. Superintendent of Police Hakay Akshay Machindra commended Shreyanka for breaking barriers and pursuing her dreams in cricket.
“The glass ceiling must be broken to excel in any field, and Shreyanka has done exactly that to realize her dreams,” said Akshay Machindra. Shreyanka’s journey serves as an inspiration for aspiring athletes and youths to strive for success.
