Meet Laxmi Singh, the new IG for Noida, UP

In the latest development in Noida, the Uttar Pradesh government has a new IG. Last night at midnight, the official appointed her as a new Police Commissioner based on the latest newly made commissioners. They also replaced the Police Commissioners of Varanasi and Noida. 

The U P government has made a new Inspector-General of Police (IG), Lucknow range. Laxmi Singh is the new Police Commissioner of the state, she has been placed under the Noida section. She has given Noida a charge. Laxmi will be the first woman under this post.

She will be taking over Alok Singh who was currently posted as the Director General of Police (DGP) headquarters in Lucknow. Additionally, Satish Ganesh, Varanasi Police Commissioner will be posted to DGP headquarters whereas  Ashok Mutha Jain, Additional Director General of Police (ADG) has been replaced in his post. 

Ajay Mishra IG who was on hold will be posted as the first Police Commissioner of Ghaziabad while IG (Prisons), Preetinder Singh will be posted as Police Commissioner of Agra.

Ramit Sharma who is the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), in Bareilly has been appointed as the first Police Commissioner of Prayagraj.  Tarun Gaba will be shifted to IG in the Lucknow range. Also, Prashant Verma Ayodhya Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) will be shifting to Bahraich Superintendent of Police (SP) taking over Keshav Kumar, who will serve as Additional Police Commissioner, Agra.

Muniraj current SSP at Ghaziabad will be taking over the post of SSP at Ayodhya. Shailesh Pandey serving as SSP at Prayagraj will be shifting to Mathura in the same post replacing Abhishek Yadav, who be working as SP (Intelligence). Prabhakar Chaudhary, Agar SSP will be shifting to Sitapur Pradeshik Armed Constabulary as Commandant.

Shuffling to concerned officials will play a vital role in the future rules and regulations of the designated locations.
