Mercedes-Benz GLC now available with plug-in variant boasting 308 bhp power and 217 kmph top speed

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the Mercedes-Benz GLC350e 4Matic plug-in hybrid SUV, capable of running up to 140 kilometers in fully electric mode. The new variant is set to be launched globally later this year, with potential for an India release due to the popularity of the GLC model in the country.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC350e 4Matic plug-in hybrid comes in three trims – Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle, offering a range of exterior colors and wheel designs. Inside, the SUV boasts features like heated front seats, digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, and various driver assistance systems across different trim levels.

Under the hood, the GLC350e 4Matic is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor and a battery pack, delivering a combined output of 308 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 217 kmph, with the electric mode limited to 140 kmph. The plug-in hybrid claims a range of 140 kilometers on a single charge and can be fully charged in 30 minutes using a 60 kW DC charger.
