Moto G Power 5G Launched: Price and Specifications with MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC Unveiled

On April 7, Thursday, the Moto G Power 5G was released in the US. The Moto G Power, which appeared in November 2021, is replaced by the new G-series handset. With a triple camera arrangement at the rear and a 50-megapixel primary sensor, the Moto G Power 5G offers a hole-punch touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device has 256GB of internal storage,  6GB of RAM, and a MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC. A 5,000mAh battery powers it, and the manufacturer claims that it can replay material for up to 38 hours on just a single charging and supports 10W quick charging.

This device supports dual sim features and has embraced Android 13. It showcases 1,080×2,400 pixels and a 6.5-inch full-HD LCD. The refresh rate is 120Hz having 405ppi pixel density and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This handset of Motorola is powered with 6GB of RAM paired with 930 SoC and octa-core MediaTek Dimensity.

For camera purposes, the Moto G Power 5G offers a primary sensor of 50 megapixels and a triple rear camera setup, and phase-detection autofocus with an f/1.8 lens. The setup of optics also comprises a 12-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The slow motion, timelapse photograph, spot colour, and dual capture, among others in case of rear camera setup.

A 16-megapixel front sensor camera with an f/2.4 lens is located on the front for taking photos and video calls. There is a 256GB internal storage capacity indicated, plus a microSD card slot for future expansion (up to 1TB).

Availability

The 6GB RAM + 256GB capacity model of the Moto G Power 5G is priced at $299.99 which is approximately Rs. 24,500. Beginning on April 13, it will be available for purchase in the US via BestBuy, Amazon, and Motorola.com. In the upcoming months, Xfinity Wireless, Spectrum Mobile, and T-Mobile will all offer it at Metro. It is additionally verified that the Moto G Power 5G will go on sale in Canada in the upcoming months. However, information regarding the handset’s launch in India has not yet been made public.
