Traffic Cops Facilitate Green Corridor for Human Liver Transfer from Delhi Airport to Dwarka Hospital

In a remarkable display of coordination and efficiency, Delhi Traffic Police successfully facilitated the transport of a cadaveric liver from IGI airport to a hospital in Dwarka in just 18 minutes, covering a distance of 16 kilometers. The cadaveric liver was transported from IGI Airport to the Akash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital in Dwarka with the utmost urgency, showcasing the importance of timely organ transportation in life-saving situations. A green corridor spanning 16 km was planned, with 35 traffic personnel deployed to ensure the smooth and fast movement of the ambulance carrying the organ.

According to a senior traffic police official, the deployment of the green corridor played a crucial role in ensuring the swift transportation of the organ, minimizing transit delays and maximizing its viability for transplantation.
