International Human Rights Day is observed every year on 10 December. The day aims to create awareness of Human Rights, entitled everyone as a human being. Every human living in the world has some special rights which bind the world in one thread, protect every human, allow him to live freely in the world. Human Rights were created and declared by United Nations in 1948, so there should be no discrimination against any human being at any cost, there should be no problem, everyone can live their life happily.

History

On 10 December 1948, the United Nations General Assembly issued the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which addressed human rights for the first time. In 1950, the United Nations decided to observe 10 December each year as International Human Rights Day. The Human Rights Act was enacted in India on September 28, 1993, and the National Human Rights Commission was established on October 12, 1993.

Significance, and Importance

Talking about Human Rights Day significance or importance, there should be no discrimination between people in the world on the basis of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or another opinion, nationality or social origin, property, birth, etc., hence the human rights were created.

The day is observed to improve the physical, social, cultural, and spiritual well-being and welfare of people across the world.
