Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Vacancies Notified for 24 Posts; Check Eligibility, Criteria, Pay Scale, And Steps to Apply

Income Tax Department is taking out the recruitment of sportspersons for several posts including multi-tasking staff. The recruitment is a great opportunity for talented sportspersons who have partaken in national and international competitions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for it by downloading the ‘Application Form’ from the official website www.incometaxindia.gov.in.

According to the official notification, a total of 24 vacancies will be filled via this recruitment, which includes 1 post for Income Tax Inspector, 5 posts for Tax Assistant, and 18 posts for Multi-Tasking Staff.

Income Tax Recruitment 2022: Last Date To Apply

According to the recruitment notification, candidates have to send their application in the prescribed format to the address given in the notification by 18 April 2022. Applications sent after this will not be received.

Age Limit

Income Tax Inspector: As of 18 April 2022, the age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 30 years. Along with this, A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is also a must for the candidates.

Tax Assistant: The age of the candidates is settled between 18 to 27. Apart from this, the candidates must have a Graduation degree from a recognized institute and a speed of 8000 key depressions per hour in data entry.

Multi-Tasking Staff: Interested candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination from a recognized board. At the same time, the age has been settled between 18 to 25 years.

Income Tax Recruitment 2022: How to Apply

The Interest and Eligible candidates can send their filled application forms in a prescribed format to the Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Headquarters (Personnel & Establishment), PI Floor, Room No. 14, Aayakar Bhawan, P-7, Chowringhee Square, Kolkata 700069.

Pay Scale

According to the notification, Income Tax Inspector will get a salary between ₹9,300 – ₹34,800 under Pay Band 2 and their grade pay are ₹4,600. The tax assistant will receive a monthly wage of between ₹5,200 – ₹20,200 and their grade pay is ₹2,400. While the multi-tasking staff will get a monthly pay of between ₹5,200 – ₹20,200 and their grade pay is ₹1,800.
