As per news reports, the incident occurred in Fish Lake Township in Minnesota. The police authority received an emergency 911 call from Elmcrest Avenue from a woman panicking. Upon reaching Chisago County Sheriff’s Office deputies heard gunshots coming from an apartment.
The minute they entered the apartment, they saw the lifeless body of a woman. Later it was identified Sarah Carda, a nurse from Advanced Correctional Healthcare. Apparently, she was shot by her husband, a 39-year-old whose identity was not disclosed by the police.
