DMK to hold meetings with alliance partners to finalise seat sharing

The DMK is gearing up for the upcoming general elections and will conduct seat sharing talks with alliance partners. Leaders of VCK, CPI, CPI-M, and MDMK will meet with DMK leadership in Chennai. The party is firm on not giving Coimbatore seat to CPI-M.

DMK plans to engage with TNCC leadership as well. Discussions with MNM’s Kamal Haasan are ongoing for potential alliance. VCK set to contest on two seats. DMK eyes a clean sweep after winning 38 out of 39 seats in 2019 elections within the SPA alliance.

The CPI is likely to get Nagpattinam and Tiruppur seats. Despite differences with CPI-M over Coimbatore seat allocation, DMK continues discussions with potential allies. The party is strategizing to secure victory in all 39 seats in the upcoming elections through careful seat distribution among allies.
