Hardeep Puri highlights transformative journey of India at Viksit Bharat Ambassador meetup, discusses key milestones

New Delhi: Hardeep Singh Puri, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, highlighted the transformational changes under the Modi government at the Viksit Bharat Ambassador event in Coimbatore. He emphasized the growth of India’s economy and urged citizens to contribute towards a developed India by 2047.

Puri spoke about India’s transition from Fragile to a top five economy since 2014, attributing the growth to various government schemes and initiatives. He emphasized the importance of the private sector and youth participation in nation-building.

The Minister outlined key achievements of the government, focusing on poverty alleviation, women-centric programs, and initiatives like the Jal Jeevan Mission and PM Housing scheme. He also highlighted the growth of India’s Metro Network and the support provided to marginalized sections through schemes like SVANidhi.

Puri expressed optimism about India’s future economic prospects, predicting a 40 trillion dollar economy by 2047. He encouraged participants to contribute to the nation’s growth by becoming Viksit Bharat Ambassadors. The event aimed to showcase India’s progress and potential for further development.
