Prominent streamer Blaire ‘QTCinderella’ had been banned on Twitch. The ban had been enforced after the latest controversy surrounding the practice of ‘ad farming,’ which was employed to boost revenue without the viewer actually viewing the content.
Blaire ‘QTCinderella’ had been indicted for the practice of ‘ad farming,’ and for this, the streamer had created two new 24/7 stream channels to gather funds for her upcoming Streamer Awards 2024 event. However, what had irked Twitch was that the streamer had asked fans to open a separate tab and then mute it to boost her watch time. Technically, it meant that the person would actively support her without actually watching the content.
The streaming community has come down heavily on Blaire ‘QTCinderella’ with streamers like Asmongold and WILDCAT condemning her actions.
The most damaging fallout of her actions had been that Twitch had decided to ban both her main channel, which boasted 953K followers, and her most recent channel, QTEvents.
Twitch streamer Blaire ‘QTCinderella’ in a post on X on February 9, 2024, had said that she was falling short on finances for her upcoming Streamer Awards 2024 event. To make up for this shortfall, she had started a new channel so that additional funds could be garnered.
While most would have thought it to be an innocuous act, experienced streamers had pointed out that Claire was essentially trying to exploit the platform as well as the advertisers by asking fans to open her stream in a new tab without watching the content.
Netizens have criticized her actions, with one user even calling her a moron for so blatantly encouraging viewers to scam Twitch.

What did QTCinderella take about the suspension?
QTCinderella had said that the ban had nothing to do with ‘ad farming,’ but the ban was due to an entirely different reason. She then revealed that one of her contents on QTEvents depicted nudity. Her boyfriend had also agreed and said that QTCinderella got banned because of an Omegle clip on her 24/7 channel.
