Maharashtra Tourist Dies of Heart Attack in Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir

In a tragic incident, a tourist from Maharashtra, Manohar Motiram Rajani, aged 63, passed away due to a heart attack while on a snow bike ride at Thajiwas glacier in Sonamarg, J&K. The incident occurred on Thursday, as confirmed by officials.

According to reports, Mr. Rajani, a resident of Solapur, Maharashtra, was exploring the picturesque hill station of Sonamarg when he suddenly fell unconscious during the snow bike excursion. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

This unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of health emergencies, especially in high-altitude regions like Sonamarg. The authorities are yet to release further details about the tourist’s medical history or any prior health conditions that may have contributed to the heart attack.
