Mahindra partners with Adani Total Energies to enhance EV charging infrastructure
Mumbai, March 21 (IANS) – Mahindra & Mahindra has entered into a partnership with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited to expand the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in India. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) aims to create an extensive network of EV chargers across the country, benefiting XUV400 customers and enhancing the convenience of electric vehicle charging.
The collaboration between Mahindra and ATEL, a subsidiary of Adani Total Gas Limited, will provide access to more than 1,100 chargers on the Bluesense+ App for Mahindra EV owners. This initiative is a significant step towards a greener and more sustainable future, aligning with India’s climate action goals.
Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd, emphasized that the alliance with ATEL will enhance the EV charging infrastructure, ensuring seamless access to the charging network for customers. This strategic partnership aims to provide a seamless and digitally integrated experience for Mahindra EV owners.
Suresh P. Manglani, Executive Director & CEO of Adani Total Gas Ltd, expressed optimism about expanding the company’s presence in the EV space through collaboration with M&M. The partnership for charging infrastructure is expected to boost customer confidence in adopting EV technology as part of the energy transition.
