Ranveer Singh Warns Netizens About Deepfakes, After His Video Goes Viral Online
Deepfake is yet again coming in to ruin people’s day and reputation. Many deepfakes are swirling in the internet which aim to ridicule the celebrities. Kajol, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, and more celebrities are the victims of deepfakes which sexualize their bodies and also demean them.

However, now that the election is going on pan-India, deepfakes regarding political agendas and the spread of the same are going around which might just be more harmful than one can even think of. Deepfake is a technology where videos are made; they are primarily fake, the videos get morphed, and then the wrong visuals or messages get spread out through them.
It's a shameful act for an official spokesperson of Congress to be spreading a deepfake video of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh.

If they (congress) can't defeat Modi Ji politically, resorting to creating deepfake videos is a low blow.

A video of Ranveer Singh bad-talking about PM Narendra Modi is now making rounds on social media. The voice is used when he goes to Varanasi and he states his political views. The video is now morphed into him saying bad and aligning trash about the BJP leader, Narendra Modi.
When the video went viral, Ranveer Singh made it clear to the people online that it was fake and that they should keep a check out for themselves as to what’s been happening in the social media realm right now. AI is a great achievement in the field of technology; it has helped in improvement and loads of amusement to the people.
However, the misuse of AI has also caused issues and done the opposite of what the technology was expected to do. Ranveer Singh is a well-known influential person; he can afford to warn people about what they see and believe on social media.
He took to his Instagram and said, “Deepfake se bacho doston,” through which he successfully wanted the people to what they should believe in and what not.
