Sunita’s Third Encounter with Arvind Kejriwal at ED Office

New Delhi, March 25 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita met him in Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody in connection with the excise policy case for the third time. The meeting took place at the ED office on the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Road. Sunita, along with Kejriwal’s personal assistant Bibhav Kumar, has been allowed to meet him daily for half an hour between 6-7 p.m.

The meeting was in compliance with the court’s directives, officials confirmed. Kejriwal, who was arrested on March 21 and remanded to ED custody until March 28, is facing allegations of involvement in a conspiracy related to the excise policy favouring specific individuals. The AAP leader has refuted the accusations levelled against him by the probe agency, which claims he solicited kickbacks from liquor businessmen.

Alongside this development, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched the ‘DP Campaign’, aiming to promote Kejriwal’s vision. Delhi Minister Atishi announced the initiative, urging party leaders and members to update their social media profile pictures to support the campaign. Atishi emphasized the campaign’s goal to spread Kejriwal’s spirit and vision to every household.

According to Atishi, participants can download a photo from IndiaWithKejriwal.com and set it as their profile picture to show solidarity with Kejriwal. The ED has accused Kejriwal of being the “kingpin and key conspirator” in the scrapped excise policy along with AAP ministers, leaders, and other individuals. Kejriwal’s arrest has sparked controversy, with the AAP leader denying all allegations against him.
