Top 10 students from IIM-Rohtak secure impressive CTC of Rs 37.25 lakh per annum

New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) Indian Institute of Management-Rohtak (IIM-Rohtak) has successfully completed the placement season for its 13th batch of the 2-year postgraduate program, with the top 10 percent of students receiving an average salary package of Rs 37.25 lakh per annum.

This year, the average CTC received by the students stands at Rs 19.27 lakh per annum, showing a 3 percent year on year growth. The top 25 percent were offered an average of Rs 29.28 LPA and the top 50 percent got Rs 24.13 LPA respectively, as per IIM-Rohtak.

Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director of IIM-Rohtak, mentioned, “This placement season witnessed the participation of a significant number of loyal recruiters along with numerous new companies. The institute collaborated with over 200 companies, including new recruiters like Airtel Payments Bank, Bloomberg, Decathlon, Dell, Havells, IDBI Bank, and Maruti Suzuki.”

Prof. Koustab Ghosh, Dean, stated that sales and marketing were the most sought after domain, accounting for 30 percent of the offers. General Management and HR followed as the second most sought-after domain, with 27 percent of the offers. Product Management, IT, and Operations constituted around 20 percent of the offers, with 15 percent in BFSI and FinTech domains, and 8 percent from the Consulting domain.
