Vivo Y78+ 5G With 50-Megapixel Camera, 5000mAh Fast-Charging Battery Launched: Know Price, and Other Specifications
The Chinese tech giant has unleashed the Vivo Y78+ 5G in China. This new handset model comes in three diverse colors and is crammed with outstanding features such as a Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is paired with an utmost of 12GB RAM.
The handset’s display is a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that refreshes at a rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the device has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W Flash Charge. As of now, the smartphone maker hasn’t revealed any schedules to launch this model in other countries, including India.

The Vivo Y78+ 5G is fixed at around ₹19,000 (¥1,599) for the 8GB+128GB arrangement, while the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB models are being offered for around ₹21,300 (¥1,799) and around ₹23,700 (¥1,999), respectively. The device is available is being offered in three color choices: Azure, Warm Sun Gold, and Moon Shadow Black (exclusive). It will be traded solely on the Vivo China e-store beginning from April 26 in China.

The Vivo Y78+ 5G boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,080×2,400px resolution, presenting an extreme brightness of up to 1300 nits. As mentioned above, the handset is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, accompanied by up to 12GB RAM + 256GB of internal storage. Operating on OriginOS 3, which is based on Android 13, the handset features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optic image stabilization and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. An 8-megapixel punch-hole selfie camera is fitted on the front.
Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual SIM, and a USB Type-C port. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge support and features an optic fingerprint scanner and facial recognition for biometric authentication.
