OTT is a way of entertainment. We’ve almost finished the first quarter of the year, and here’s a rundown of some of the greatest and highest-rated Hindi films so far in 2022. The first four months have been chock-full of excellent films, both in theatres and on demand. The year began with the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Gangubai Kathiawadi”, followed by SS Rajamouli’s “RRR”, which broke box office records. OTT portals such as Netflix, Disney+, Hotstar, and others provided us with some intriguing films such as Abhishek Bachchan’s “Dasvi” and the late Rishi Kapoor’s humorous “Sharmaji Namkeem”, among many others. Let’s take a closer look at the greatest Hindi films of 2022 thus far that will have you fascinated as we enter the second half of the year.

These are some of the OTT releases you can check out and binge this weekend-

1. ‘Mai‘

A distraught mother learns the culprits responsible for her daughter’s terrible murder and becomes ruthless in her pursuit of the truth.

2. ‘Panchayat’

It is a comedy-drama that follows the experience of Abhishek, an engineering graduate who has yet to find a good job in his field; he accepts a job as a secretarial in a Panchayat office in a rural village.

3. ‘Special OPS’

The series focuses on India’s varied special operations missions throughout the last two decades. It is told from the viewpoint of Himmat Singh, who has his own opinions on the major events that have occurred in the country during the last two decades.

4. ‘Bandish Bandits’

It’s a narrative of Tamanna, a pop artist, and Radhe, a traditional Indian singer. Despite the fact that they have opposing personalities, they decide to start on a voyage of self-discovery and to see if opposite personalities can be drawn to each other.

5. ‘Mirzapur’

Among the most popular internet series is Mirzapur. The first two seasons of this series were well-received, and fans are eagerly anticipating the third season of Mirzapur. The plot revolves around a rivalry between two families in Uttar Pradesh, as well as mafia raj and the fight to become the most dominant of all.

6. ‘Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side’

Both Drake and Rick have their private jets for quick travel. When Drake got him, Rick pointed out and made fun of the fact that he was signed to a cheap jet because he signed a deal with Young Money.

But everything took a turn when Rick’s plane had to perform an emergency landing due to malfunctions in Dallas, Texas. Now, the reason behind this is not known yet; the picture on social media suggests that Rick was unharmed and he walked away safely. His plane was lying in a field of grass and the plane also had his name on it.

Drake added fuel to the controversy when he liked a post that confirmed Rick’s safety.

“The retired Miami government employee and current cosplayer walked away unharmed because the wing stopped the plan,”

the post which Drake liked contained.

People are pulling in funny thoughts saying that Drake may have had a hand in this crash after all. Instead of taking things too seriously, Rick had fun with the situation and he added the caption, ‘Drake fighter jet shot us down!’ on his Instagram story, which added to the humor of the situation.

Rappers are very minimal in number; recently the hip-hop industry has been booming, but previously people were unified and had to be in close ties with each other when it comes to their roots to stick.

Drake and Ross have been in this game for the longest time.

“But I got one guy, he’s my favorite to rap with on any song. His name is Rick Ross. That’s my brother,”

Drake said during one of his live shows.

They have also collaborated to create songs together, which ended up breaking records as well.
