Andhra cop among three killed in road accident in Telangana

Three people, including an Andhra Pradesh Police official, were killed in a car accident in Telangana’s Mahabubnagar district. The incident took place near Annasagar in Bhoothpur mandal. The deceased were identified as Sub-Inspector of Police Venkata Ramana, his son-in-law Pawan Sai, and driver Chandra. Venkata Ramana’s daughter Anusha, who was injured, was admitted to the hospital. The car was badly mangled after the driver lost control.

The tragic accident took place on the national highway near Annasagar in Bhoothpur mandal. The car, carrying Venkata Ramana, his son-in-law Pawan Sai, and driver Chandra, rammed into a roadside tree, leading to the death of all three occupants. Meanwhile, Venkata Ramana’s daughter Anusha, who was also in the car, sustained injuries and was rushed to Mahabubnagar government hospital.

Anusha, who had recently married Pawan Sai, was traveling with her husband and father from Hyderabad to Anantapur after a function at Pawan Sai’s house. The couple had tied the knot on February 15 in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. The family was en route to Anantapur when the tragic accident occurred. Sub-Inspector Venkata Ramana was posted at Peapully police station in Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh.

The car was severely damaged in the accident, which was attributed to the driver losing control of the vehicle. The police are investigating the matter further to determine the exact cause of the accident. The loss of three lives, including that of a police official, has sent shockwaves through the local community, and the families of the deceased are mourning the tragic loss.
