Walmart Sista Doll Video Goes Viral; Is Walmart Selling the Racist Item? Netizens in Fury

The internet is currently abuzz with a Walmart Sista Doll, which allegedly promotes racism and body shaming. Images of a plus-size Black doll have been circulating widely all over the internet since 2023. Many users and netizens found the picture of the doll controversial, as it has been manufactured in a stereotypical way that portrays black women with thick bodies.

Even though the doll has been made as if it is a real human, it’s not. As per the revolving rumors and allegations in the market, it should be noted that the doll in question is not sold in Walmart stores or on its website.

Many netizens took to the internet to reveal that the plus-size Black doll video has resurfaced on the internet and has gone viral as many people are sharing it and putting in their views and opinions. The video that went viral portrays a Black woman doll of plus size on the sides of which, fried chicken, a toy scooter, a trashcan, a watermelon, and handcuffs can be spotted along with other items. The packet of the alleged Walmart Sista Doll mentioned that “two of the items included with the doll were stolen.”

Netizens’ Reactions

As the video of the plus-size black woman circulated all over the internet, netizens went to various social media platforms to share their opinions. A TikTok user named @shulerking was one of them. However, the video has also found its way to YouTube as well.

Shulerking made a video on TikTok and said,

“There’s an over-represented minority in our [Black] community, and now people seek to exploit the over-represented minority. This is not who our sisters are. Statistically, Black women have been the most educated women in the country. Started more businesses than anybody else. But yet, and still, you find the worst of them and decide to exploit that idea, that thought. Somebody needs to get their ass whooped.”

Origin of Walmart Sista Doll

As per the reports, the alleged Walmart Sista Doll originated from a meme page. Even though the wrapping has been done flawlessly making it look authentic, the truth is it is not real. Walmart is not selling such items. The doll would not appear for procurement even on the large retail chain’s official website.

It was revealed by a Facebook user that the origin of the plus-size Black women doll meme is from the page, “Tired Meme Clown X.” Reportedly, the page makes “highly offensive, hate-filled memes.” To various users, the doll appeared hateful, insulting, demeaning, and racist as well.
