Haryana making changes in logistics and retail policy to benefit investors: Deputy CM

The Haryana government is making changes in the state’s logistics, warehousing, and retail policy to accommodate stakeholders. Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala stated that the government is seeking input from investors to align with national policies promoting these sectors. The existing policy is set to expire next month.

Changes in the policy include reducing the minimum land requirement for logistics and warehousing from 10 acres to 5 acres and decreasing the warehouse road width from 60 feet to 33 feet. Plans for a new logistics hub called Panchgram along the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway are also in progress, with future cities allotting space for the logistics sector.

The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted the Sohna and Firozpur Jhirka areas along the Delhi-Mumbai-Expressway as future hubs for port-to-land connectivity. These developments aim to enhance the state’s position in the logistics, warehousing, and retail sectors with a focus on stakeholder convenience and future growth opportunities.
