4-year-old girl killed by stray dogs in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh

In Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, a tragic incident occurred as a four-year-old girl was fatally attacked by stray dogs near the Amethi Mata Temple. The victim, a member of a nomadic family, was taken into custody for post-mortem examination after her body was mutilated.

According to Station House Officer Ved Prakash Sharma, the family had been living near the temple in a temporary shanty. The incident took place while the girl’s family was out searching for work, and she was attacked by the dogs as she followed them.

Despite bystanders’ efforts to chase away the dogs, the girl suffered severe injuries and passed away on the spot. SHO Sharma stated that the police are taking necessary actions in response to the incident.

This tragic incident highlights the dangers posed by stray dogs in the area and raises concerns about the safety of residents, especially children. The authorities must address this issue promptly to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
