She was born on October 24, 1997 in Florissant, Missouri and had a heart of gold, ever ready to help people in need around her. She was in a relationship with Dawson Byer and was an adorable couple who were dreaming big things in the future. Sadly the love story ended in tragedy. Meagan was a symbol of valor, self-sacrifice, and a dogged devotion to helping those around her.

He also added that he cherished the moments he had spent with Meagan Addis and bemoaned the tragedy which has broken his heart and soul to its depth. He added that he always valued Meagan Addis as a friend and circumstances may have set a distance between them but the news of the tragedy hurt him very much. Meagan, who was only 25 years old sadly, did not have any life insurance and this put a double load on her family who were left bearing the funeral expenses on their own.
