On Sunday, Pecco Bagnaia was involved in a highly scary Incident at Catalunya MotoGP. However, somehow the rider managed to escape an ill fate. He is protected from various severe injuries. However, the health status of another rider, Bastianini is really bad. Bastianini has to undergo two major surgeries to heal and sustain.
As per the reports, Pecco Bagnaia met with the crash during the first lap. The 24-lap race competition was organized in Barcelona, Spain. On the first lap, he high-sided from his KTM bike. The Bike overpassed from his legs. Other rides tried and managed to avoid not hitting Pecco Bagnaia. However, Brad Binder’s KTM hit Pecco Bagnaia on his legs badly.
Bagnaia, the Ducati rider was taken to the hospital immediately. Ducati Lenovo Team player Davide Tardozzi told a media outlet, “It seems less serious than expected.” Later he added, “Bagnaia has sustained multiple contusions, but further medical checks have shown no fractures. The reigning World Champion will fly to Italy with the team.”

Updates by Dr. Angel Charte, the Medical Director of MotoGP also read, “Pecco has had severe polytrauma.” She further added that, over Bagnaia, the motorbike ran in the tibial and femoral areas. The X-ray reports also confirmed an injury, however, it is yet to be detected if the small injury is an old one or caused by to recent crash.
He added, “We need to do an urgent CAT scan and that is why we have sent him to the general hospital.” Then he added that to confirm a fracture, a CAT scan is required as Conventional radiology is insufficient to confirm the status of the fracture.
