Erick Adame is a renowned personality who is a former weatherman at Spectrum NY1. Currently, the news circulating is about announcing his break from all kinds of social media platforms. This announcement came after almost a year when the leaked videos showcasing him went viral on social media. The leaked videos contain content from an adult webcam site.
Adame lost his job and was terminated from work in September 2022. This happened when the images and screenshots from the adult webcam website reached his superior. The boss terminated Adame which led the latter to face ongoing financial and mental struggles. In Adame’s entire 15-year career, he received a total of two Emmy nominations.
Erick Adame approached social media, revealed his struggles, and wrote, “In December 2021, I was captured nude on a public adult webcam sit. I had done it before but wasn’t caught in this way until then. Months later someone would send these images to my mom, my bf, and my work. I was fired in September 2022 and haven’t been able to find similar work, on or off camera.”
Erick Adame’s Financial and Mental Instability
Erick Adame also mentioned his mental and financial instability, which cannot be described in words. He is trying hard to manifest good things for himself and stay optimistic. However, for that, he has decided to take a break from the toxic world of Social media.
He further wrote, “The toll this has taken on me mentally and financially is hard to even begin to describe. I’m still pushing forward and trying my hardest to stay positive but I need to take a break from social media,” he added.
Adame stated that “Weather with Erick,” his start-up company that provides weather subscription service will continue for the time being. Hoping for better results in difficult times, he would try to focus on his mental health to start afresh. In his Instagram Stories, he also shared some snapshots and examples of messages he gets from people.
